Data collected and purposes

1. Contact form

When you use the contact form we collect the first name, last name, email address and the message you send us, which you voluntarily provide, for the sole purpose of replying to your request. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) or, absent a contractual relationship, our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and is processed solely to reply to the request and for technical email delivery. The notification email is sent via Mailgun (Sinch), a US-based email delivery provider.

2. Google Maps widget

On the Contact page we show, only if you consent, a map built with Google Maps to indicate our location. Loading the map connects to Google LLC's servers and involves processing of usage data and tracking tools per Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), revocable at any time from the "Cookie preferences" panel. If you don't consent, the map is not loaded.

3. Cookie consent log

To be able to demonstrate, as required by the GDPR (art. 5.2 and 7.1), which choice you made on the cookie banner, we keep a technical log containing: a random identifier not linked to your identity, the date, the accepted/rejected categories, and the policy version in force at the time of your choice. We do not store your IP address. Legal basis: accountability obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR) and our legitimate interest in being able to demonstrate lawfulness of processing. This data is kept for 24 months and then automatically deleted. See the Cookie Policy for more details on cookies.

The site currently does not use any statistical analytics tool (e.g. Google Analytics) nor third-party advertising.

Where data is processed

Data is processed at the Controller's premises and at the technical providers listed above (Google LLC for the map widget, when enabled; Mailgun (Sinch) for sending notification emails from the contact form). Some of these processing activities involve a transfer of data outside the EU (United States), carried out by the respective providers based on the safeguards provided by chapter V of the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

Retention period

• Contact form requests: for as long as needed to handle the request.
• Cookie consent log: 24 months.
• Data processed by Google Maps: as indicated in Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to: access your data, request rectification or erasure, object to or request restriction of processing, request portability, withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. In case of material changes related to cookies, the consent banner will be shown again to all users.
